Common Tit
I love this small butterfly, a Common Tit [Hypolycaena erylus]. This picture was taken at a diving resort in Palu, Central Sulawesi. Please notice that there are 'tails' on edge of its hind wings .....
So glad I found your website! I was able able to identify a butterfly I saw (spotted crow) from your lovely photos! THANKS!
I was admiring your photo "Common Tit", which is very beautiful, but I have just seen this same butterfly with a different name (common & scientific) - Gray Hairstreak (Strymon melinus) http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2010/04/10/gray-hairstreak-3/
